Father's Day

As many of you know yesterday was Father's Day. This is a tough holiday with mixed feelings for me. I do not know who my father is all I know is his name. I didn't find out his name until after my mother passed away in 2007. I did not have a father figure growing up and all I wished for was a father for my children. I have truly been blessed to have found a wonderful man my children call dad. He has been there for me since day one and has been loving, giving father I dreamed of having as a little girl. I am so thankful for him and I am so glad that my wish came true. I feel that my daughters have something I didnt and that's all I wanted for them.

I have mixed feelings because someone that I hold near and dear to my heart passed away at a young age on fathers day. I am always a little sad on this day and I take a second to think of her and tell her she is missed and still loved. In her honor I took the first to letters of her name and put them at the beginning of my daughters middle name. I did not want to name my daughter after her so I thought that was a great way to remember her.

I hope all of the Fathers out there and the mothers who play double duty enjoyed their day! I know my husband enjoyed his day!

OLD NAVY Style Council Tee shirt party

I love love love being a member of the OLD NAVY Style Council! I have gotten to share Old Navy's  awesome clothes with some of my best girlfriends because I am a member of Crowdtaps Old Navy Style Council !!!! This has to be one of my favorite parties yet! I was given two coupons (one for me and one for a friend) to head out to Old Navy and pick out two shirts (YES, I said TWO shirts) each!!!! I chose a really pretty green shirt and a black shirt. Both are V-Neck shirts and they are so awesome!!! Here are a few pictures of me enjoying the shirts I picked out!

Summer Update

Hello Readers! Sorry I have not had a chance to post on my blog in a while! I have been busy attending online college and taking care of my family! Old Navy Style Council Bundle Bash

As most of you know I am a member of Crowdtap. Through Crowdtap I am a member of the Old Navy Style Council. Recently they gave me the oppurtunity to host a Bundle Bash at my local Old Navy store. I invited my friends to join me at this awesome party! We picked a day that would work for everyone and decided we would have dinner and a movie after shopping for our new outfits. Since this was a hosted party we got to pick out a Sweater, Jeans and winter accessory. When the day finally arrived I was so excited. I was a little sad when 2 of my friends couldnt make it because they had a change of plans but I didnt let it get me too down. My friend Ana Lisa and I headed on in to do some serious shopping! Xia Xia In-Home Party

I was recently chosen to host an Xia Xia (say sha sha) in home party!
What is Xia Xia (sha sha) you ask??

As most of my readers know I am a member of CrowdTap. Through Crowdtap I am a member of the Old Navy Style Council. They recently had a Old Navy Jeans Sample and Share!
